It’s a beautiful new day! I have been starting the day off with more BEING rather than doing.
Allowing the early morning flow to be more slow & free. This is like 100% the opposite of how I used to start my mornings which was like a race.
Funny enough I’m using a stop watch as I write this and go through my morning routine now. I do believe racing is part of playing and I have fun seeing how fast I can do as many things I want to do as possible.
I have just learned to not always be in a race and sometimes in the mornings, especially now with Emma leaving for the next 3 weeks. She’s about to go paint a mural at another location where she will be staying. I think its better to move slow and see what wants to unfold in the space and I am sure glad I did!
What naturally arose was some pleasuring of each other. Cacao, Dancing, singing and making a silly video which I’ll add to this page shortly.
I feel on fire now to start my morning routine and I love the game of getting as much high value stuff done as I can. I have taken this to the next level now that I just bought a stop watch yesterday. Now I hit the start button for each new sequence of my morning routine or when I’m starting something new and work to complete it as swiftly as possible.
I know it might seem funny, and Emma and Manuel said I look like a track coach with the timer around my neck, but I’m having a great day and I love my life 🙂
If you want to be in the morning, wake up earlier than your obligations and if you can make your morning rituals fun and you want to try to make it more fun with a timer .. you will find you get more done and stay on point more often. I promise.
That’s because each time I hit the timer button to start a new lap, I set a new focus and a new intention becomes clear. And this just helps me start moving towards the next thing that I have on my list without even thinking about it.. no time for procrastination!
I love how it feels to be clear and conscious with my daily goals and objectives and I love experimenting with these little hacks for getting more done and ultimately getting more out of life. Let me know how it goes if you decide to experiment with this approach on your own.
Otherwise have a fantastic day unleashing more of your full potential today in whatever way works for you. Slowing down, speeding up or just being throughout the day. Much love and see you tomorrow.
