A new day has begun. What rituals are you doing every day to help optimize yourself to be the best version of you?

What I haves realized is that to live your FULL Potential really means to optimize in all the important areas of life, not just one. Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Social, Emotional, Financial, Environment.

For example I saw a video about a certain billionaire yesterday and yet his body was not in the most optimum shape. He had achieved billions and billions of dollars through optimizing his business systems and innovation, and yet did not take much time optimizing his biological system. His focus was clearly in one area and not another.

Even if you just take 1 min in each area or doing just 1 push up and 1 chord on the guitar. It strengthens your discipline and your ability to consciously choose where you want to focus. It also reinforces the action you want to take, so you will inevitably spend more time there, get stronger and get better along the way.

So if you haven’t made a habit list somewhere yet or you aren’t tracking habits and making life a game .. perhaps you could commit after this post to check out some apps or think about a fun way to follow up your key rituals each day.

I have done a few posts on habit tracking apps and some offline systems I use. The thing is that you use something, ideally both online AND offline , that will help your focus shift to the next thing you want to do. The more clarity you have on the next ritual, the more likely you are to do it. Otherwise your focus can easily get sucked into a distraction and before you know it a few hours have passed looking at videos and photos that have nothing to do with optimizing your life to the fullest.

One other quick tip I discovered recently is structuring my day so that I stop eating around 8 pm and don’t eat until noon. This not only frees up an entire meal time (making food, cleaning food), it also keeps my consciousness lighter allowing me to be way more productive.

I also do my best not to check my messages during this period of time either .. giving me the effect of both a physical fast as well as a mental one. This little ritual of not eating after 8 pm until noon and staying off messages and the phone in general as much as possible, has help me so much in productivity and clear headedness.

Give these things a try and I’d love to hear how it goes in the comments below. Have a lovely day!
