How to overcome judgement and simply produce content for the sake of expression. Let ‘good’ or ‘perfect’ arise out of continually creating. First it starts with quantity and overtime as you learn the nuances of how to create something better, you develop quality.
CREATING WITHOUT JUDGEMENT
As I get into a flow of creating more and more media I find that I create without judgement. It’s this rapid fire content creation that gets me in the habit of creating from start to finish. To put things out there even if they don’t feel ‘perfect’ is output at the highest level for me.
QUALITY COMES WITH QUANTITY & HABITUAL CREATION
Now of course we want quality too.. but if we don’t at least go through the CREATIVE PROCESS of creating and then publishing, we won’t have our channels clear for that more ‘perfect’ creation.
THE WORLD’S REACTION IS A FILTER
What’s nice about social media and the online world is that you can output content without a lot of resistance and be who you are and let the audience decide if its something they want to watch. Or basically views don’t matter for me so much as having output measures.
EXPERIMENT!
I know that if I create enough art that eventually some of it will be good.. and then perhaps the really good stuff I can curate and condense down. And then I’ll have a lot of really good stuff to share. But without the habitual outputting of content , I don’t find those moments where creativity flows through and even I’m surprised with the result.
BE SURPRISED BY YOUR OWN CREATIONS
How can you be surprised with the creation unless you trust in the flow of creative energy and simply hit that record button or start writing and see what shows up? It’s it fascinating at least for an audience of one to see what you produce without a plan?
Entering the field of creativity, outputting what’s ever there (improv style) and publishing it takes courage. But it’s also a lot of fun. You never really know what’s inside you unless you let it arise through the act of simply creating space for your expression to come through. This is who you are at your essence bubbling through. Even if its not always perfect or polished who cares.. the world could use more interesting characters 🙂
