Level 10 Your Life

We Are All World Leaders

Good morning everyone. It’s another beautiful morning here in Costa Rica.
Waking up a little sore from yesterday’s soccer match. They’ve been growing quite a bit and yesterday was the first time we had enough people to occupy the entire field. There was a lot of running and a lot of intensity and today we rest.

It’s always interesting to see what wants to come forth today. So I keep writing and I don’t censor and Id on’t really edit much except for spelling and basic grammar changes after I’ve flowed what needs to be said for today.

As a follow up from yesterday’s post I wanted to emphasize the importance of us all coming together to achieve the same vision. When we realize the Earth is really not as big as we think and the consequences of our action here as adding up into one significant impact on this small, beautiful, life sustaining planet – we realize how important it is that we come together sooner rather than later. And that we don’t delegate the responsibility of responsible leadership to irresponsible leadership.

At this stage it’s important we look at every angle the ways in which we can have a positive impact on the planet and not WAIT for change to occur or use the spiritual cliche that ‘everything is perfect’. I think if everything is perfect we wouldn’t be here and there would be no problems to solve. I thinks solutions lead to perfection but everything is not perfect. And to say it is is a kind of denial of reality.

I believe the fact that we are empowered to solve problems is perfect, but if my house was on fire I wouldn’t want to sit back and say everything is perfect while waiting for a fire engine that never arrives. I would do everything in my power to either put out the fire or save what was most valuable to me.

So if we look at Spaceship Earth as having some problems, that we are empowered to solve and that each of us plays a part – we can begin to think differently about how we want to live each day. Rather than simply getting by or trying to make ‘money’ in the current financial paradigm.. or living our individual lives according to the scripts of our social context – what if we little by little, make an impact in the areas that count. In areas where we can see, a little improvement each day will help alter the course of humanity and the trajectory of our future generations in a positive way.

Not to mention that the right trajectory for humans will also lead us to greater harmony with nature and appreciation for all things EARTHLY. Which in turn, arrives through embodying our highest spiritual aspects as well. It’s the walking the line of spiritual and material that I believe helps us to respect the material while also upgrading it.

So key points here is:
1 – Coming together to achieve the same vision
2 – To realize spaceship Earth is actually quite small and the sooner we can come together to improve it the better
3 – That we cannot delegate responsibility of improvement , especially where we cannot see the kind of measurable improvement we need to be truly sustainable.
4 – What’s perfect is our ability as a collective to identify and solve problems that make things more perfect
5 – That small improvements every day can dramatically improve the conditions now as well as the trajectory of future generations

The question is where do we start? And that begins with COMING TOGETHER and defining an agreeable vision for ALL of Spaceship Earth. We can do this independent of any world leader meeting – we are the world leaders when we assume the responsibility for it, regardless of whether voted into an office or holding a title or not. Leadership is
(1) a perspective / vision
(2) an example backed by action.

No assumption can be made for leadership to do what they promised to do, or do what their title implies. Once we accept this fact, we can begin to realize how much more of the responsibility is on us to become true leaders of the world we wish to see in this lifetime and beyond.
